Children with Special Needs

We desire to give EVERY child and EVERY family the opportunity to join the faith family of New Heights Church. The 1-2-1 ministry partners with families affected by disability providing the support needed for all members of the family to be able to worship and enjoy community.

Our committed and trained buddies pair “1-2-1” with children who need extra support during our Sunday morning program. Regardless of a child’s needs we desire them to be included with their peers as they worship and learn together.

We have never turned a child or family away due to their disability. Work with us to create a plan that will allow your child and family to flourish in their faith.

Sonshine Room

The Sonshine room provides designated space and ministry for children with significant sensory needs. While we are passionate about inclusion we know that regardless of adaptation our regular programming could remain upsetting for some children. Through committed volunteers we try to create a calm atmosphere for children to encounter the knowledge and love of Christ.
