New Heights Church

On Wednesday morning, April 14th, a 7.1 magnitude earthquake struck the Tibetan plateau in the Yushu province of China.  Approximately 85% of the structures in Yushu town are in ruins. Around 1500 deaths are being reported and around 11,000 people were injured.  

Our global workers, as well as many other ex-pats living in that area, are organizing relief efforts and traveling to help.  Most western workers live about 500 miles from this area and are safe, but they have good friends in Yushu and know already of two that have died.
