New Heights Church was started in 2001 with a passion to reach out to a wide range of people in Fayetteville and the surrounding area with the love of Jesus and then equip and empower them to reach the world with this life changing Gospel of Grace.
The congregation has experienced dramatic growth; at this time there are about 2,000 people associated with New Heights Church. Many different ministries have emerged, including prayer ministries, college ministry, men’s and women’s ministries, benevolence ministry, Potter’s House (children at risk), and global ministry.
Our Sunday morning services are different each week. You will experience a variety of speakers and worship leaders. The music style is mostly contemporary. The teaching styles vary from expository to narrative. Communion is offered weekly and a portion of most services is dedicated to allowing the body to minister to one another in prayer, confession, and sharing (one to one). Our goal each week is to design a service that gives you plenty of opportunity to engage God personally.
Plan to arrive early as parking spaces fill up quick. Most people dress casually, so don’t worry about what to wear. If you have a Bible, plan to bring it along. If you have teenage children, it’s easiest to drop them off at their building on the corner of Wedington and Rupple first, before proceeding to the Boys and Girls Club. Once you are at the B&G Club, feel free to ask a greeter any questions you have. If you have younger children, one of the greeters can assist you with checking your child into their classroom. If you are a coffee drinker, pour yourself a cup before or after the service out in the lobby (it’s good stuff!) Our services typically last about an hour and twenty minutes, with a service beginning at 9:00am and another one at 10:45.
