Small Groups

Being created in the image of God we are designed for community.  Just as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit have always shared life, we are meant to share life with God and with one another.  Community groups provide a starting place for life sharing.

Small groups meeting in homes are the heartbeat of New Heights Church. In small groups, deep and lasting relationships are formed as we live out our identity as the family of God.  Our community groups provide a place where you can study, eat, worship, pray and serve with other believers.  For many of us our closest friends are people we met in a community group.

There are many different types of community groups at New Heights—men’s groups, women’s groups, couples groups, mixed demographic groups, special focus groups (such as Financial Peace University or Marriage Builders), Discovery groups (for those new to New Heights), etc.

Discovery Groups

Discovery is an eight-session group designed  to be the first experience of community for those who are interested in being a part of New Heights.  Discovery covers our history, core beliefs and values, structure, approach to ministry, etc.  New Discovery Groups begin every 8 to 12 weeks.  (New groups are now forming).

Financial Peace University

 We are currently offering two FPU groups.  Both groups meet in the Biblical Training Institute room.  The Tuesday group began Sept. 1 at 6:30pm,  the Sunday group begins Sept. 13 at 4:00pm.  (It's not too late to join!)  Child care is provided at $5 per child per meeting.  Member kits cost $53 per household.
