Global Training School (GTS) is a summer cross-cultural school that partners with New Heights Global workers. This summer, Linda Mohlman and the team saw God at work in some extremely difficult places.

"How much?" This was the disgusting question that the young women on the team had to endure in the inner city red light district of Klerksdorp, South Africa as they invited the lost people in that area to a church in a neighborhood bar. This derogatory question, the constant stories of violent crime taking place daily around them, the night spent without electricity or running water in an outcast community of special needs children, and the general heaviness of their surroundings caused the team several times to question their ability to carry out the task.

But the powerful stories they witnessed of Jesus in the darkest places kept them going. They gained strength as they prayed with men and women who didn't feel worthy of the Kingdom. They saw the courage and strength of the Buys and Stuck families on the ground. They saw people decide to follow Jesus. The trip was an anchoring reminder to the team that He is the only hope in any and every circumstance.
