“I want to worship more as a cry for my love for the Lord instead of just asking Him for things”

Last Saturday at Ozark Worship Night, I was able to just surrender to the foot of the cross. Normally, I spend a lot of worship time asking the Lord to speak into my situation. However this time, although I am amidst a lot of chaos in my life right now, I felt that I needed to spend time praising Him for His goodness. 

It’s easy to step into worship asking for things, expecting answers.  Many times that’s okay and what we need. That night I felt convicted just to spend time with Him. I want to worship more as a cry for my love for the Lord instead of just asking Him for things as if He is a vending machine. Saturday I was able to cry out for my love!
