"Midway through our time in Honduras we met a little girl named Maria. Our team heard her story while visiting the hospital in town. We met and prayed over Maria and her father. She had not been able to walk for eight days because of  unexplainable hip and back complications. The next step was to send her to Tegucigalpa - about 3 hours away from her home. With heavy hearts, we left the hospital hoping for Maria's condition to change.

 A few days later, we were finishing up a shopping day in the city. We took a wrong turn down a street on the way to find our van. We turned the corner and immediately saw Maria and her father also shopping. We could not believe it was them! With a smile on his face, her father told us how the doctors couldn't explain why she was suddenly better after we had prayed with them. They released her hours after we had left the hospital. What an incredible reminder that God heals and prayer changes things!
