Intersection

Making friends, feeding lives and loving as we are led to love

Intersection NWA has gathered every Thursday without fail since May 22, 2014. Our mission is to foster intentional, authentic relationships with our unhoused and low-income neighbors. We know that building trust requires consistent presence -   showing up time and again to truly listen and understand the urgent needs of those we serve. We believe every person deserves to be seen and treated with dignity, including through the meals we provide.

During our first two years of meal service, we took weekly notes of which dishes were most enjoyed, which were disliked, and which were already being frequently served by other outreach groups, ensuring our offerings were both thoughtful and respectful.

Along with weekly meals, we have helped with urgent medical needs, funerals, jobs, vehicles etc. Our hope is that each individual that walks in our doors feels seen and loved and known by their name.

Through changing seasons and uncertain times, Intersection NWA has remained a reliable presence for those in need, offering not only food but also, kindness, respect, and a place of belonging.  It is this purpose that guides every plate we serve and every connection we make.

Get Involved

At Intersection NWA, every helping hand makes a difference. Whether you are serving meals, sharing conversations, donating resources, or simply showing up with compassion, your presence matters. Volunteers are the heart of what we do. You can join us on Thursdays to help prepare and serve meals, or offer encouragement to our friends. We also welcome groups, churches and individuals who want to support through financial gifts and specific donations as it arises.

Please contact Nellie Beall at nelliebeall@gmail.com to schedule a volunteer group or for any donation questions.
